On Sunday May 3rd, 2015 Ilana and Reuven Sacher, dear Friends and Patrons of the newly established American Friends of The Arthur Rubinstein Competition, graciously hosted a reception and recital at their beautiful New York home.
Guests of honor, Mrs. Eva and Dr. Alina Rubinstein – daughters of the late Arthur Rubinstein and an audience of 70 guests, enjoyed a recital given by 2008 Prize Laureate, Roman Rabinovich.
The American Friends of the Arthur Rubinstein Music Society was established in 2015. The aims of the newly founded organization are twofold; to bring together lovers of the piano in the United States and support The Arthur Rubinstein International Music Society and Piano Master Competition in Israel.
The event was a tremendous success thanks to the warm hospitality of the hosts, the well planned organization of Adv. Ben-Dov, and of course the artistic contribution of pianist Roman Rabinovich.
Many of the guests showed interest in becoming supporters of the Arthur Rubinstein Music Society’s activities.
