Ofir Peres born in 2006, in Ashdod, studied at the “Mofet” class of ‘Mekif Tet’ High School, and studied at the “Akadma” Conservatory in Ashdod, managed by Mrs. Yanina Kudlik. Ofir is a student of Professor Eitan Globerson, at The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he is part of its Outstanding Pianists program. He has worked with pianists such as Murray Perahia, studied Music Theory with Adi Rozenkranz, and received advanced training with Professor Asaf Zohar (both from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv).
Ofir is a recipient of excellence scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, and a prize winner of the "Piano Forever" and “Scherzo” competitions for young pianists.
He has performed as a soloist with Ashdod Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Mr. Vag Papian, and the JAMD Mendi Rodan Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Professor Michael Wolpe.
