The Rubinstein Competition is heading north to the Keshet Eilon Music Center for a festive celebration of piano and string music, featuring some of today’s most captivating Israeli and international performers.
On the festive program:
A special recital with pianist Daniel Ciobanu – audience favorite and silver medalist at the 2017 Rubinstein Competition; a musical encounter with two Israeli competitors in the upcoming Rubinstein Competition, Itamar Feinberg and Lior Lifshitz; a film accompanied by live music; a fascinating musical meeting with oud master Taiseer Elias and percussionist Zohar Fresco; and a chamber concert featuring works by Beethoven, Schubert, and Mendelssohn.

The concert offers a unique and moving experience, combining live violin and piano with a silent film screening. The live soundtrack blends a wide variety of styles—classical, jazz, pop, Middle Eastern music, and free improvisation—highlighting works by Jewish composers and traditional melodies.
This musical mosaic adds new meaning, warmth, and emotional depth to the silent film—the result: a fresh, immersive way to experience both music and cinema.
