Following the spread of the Corona virus and the emergency guidelines to curb the epidemic in Israel and around the world, the management of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition has decided to postpone the 16th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, which was to take place on 5 – 21 May 2020.
It was also decided that a new date for holding the competition could not be set as long as the global picture of the epidemic is unclear. The competition’s management will announce new dates as soon as the situation allows.
Idith Zvi, Artistic Director: “I am sorry for the dozens of outstanding pianists from all over the world who are in the midst of preparations for May’s competition, but in a state of uncertainty, it is best to postpone the competition for another date. We will make every effort to set a new date for the competition as soon as possible, so that our audience can continue to enjoy international talents and exceptional performances.”
Ticket buyers will receive an automatic refund for their purchase, according to the payment method in which they have paid (there is no need to contact the ticket office).
We wish everyone good health with hope to prevail soon.
