of The Arthur Rubinstein International Society
The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition is considered amongst the leading piano competitions in the world. Since the first competition took place in 1974, with Maestro Rubinstein himself in the Jury, accomplished pianists from all over the world have been travelling to Tel Aviv to participate in the renowned contest, and its acclaimed and accomplished prize winners are leading participants in the international piano music scene.
Australian Friends of ARIMS was launched in March 2023 when Warren and Stephen Green sponsored the final session of the 17thArthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, in Tel Aviv. The main objective of this non-profit organization is to provide performance opportunities for Rubinstein Competition Laureates in Australia, allowing the piano-loving public to show their support and identification with the performing arts in Israel. Now more than ever ARIMS needs financial and moral support to continue and preserve its role as a beacon to the world of piano.
