Lior Lifshitz, 18, began his studies with Dr. Dror Semmel and is currently studying with Prof. Tomer Lev at The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music. Lior made his debut as a soloist already at the age of 10 with The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and since then performed with many other orchestras such as The Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, The Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, and more.
Lior has won awards in many competitions in the country, including the first prize in 2020 in the competition “The Young Artist”, as well as the "Israeli Piece Performance Prize”, the first prize in 2015, 2018, and 2021 in the competition “Piano Forever in Ashdod, and recently, the first prize in "Clairmont" competition.
He has appeared in many important concert halls in Israel, including the Tel Aviv Cultural Hall, The Israeli Opera House, Henry Crowne, Tzavta Hall, and more, and performed on behalf of the Philharmonic Orchestra and The American-Israel Cultural Foundation in concerts abroad.
Plays regularly in master classes for Maestro Murray Perahia at the Jerusalem Music Center, where he there studied theory and played in courses and ensembles.
Since the age of 11, he has been awarded outstanding honors each year by the America Israel Cultural Foundation, the Conservatory of "Stricker", “Zfunot Tarbut" and “The Ronen Foundation”.
