ANTONII BARYSHEVSKYI, Piano

Antonii Baryshevskyi was born in Ukraine, 1988 and began playing the piano at age 7. He completed his studies at the Kiev School of Music, and when only 16 won the Ukrainian program “Man of the Year, 2005”. He went on to study with Valerii Kozlov at the Ukraine National Music Academy, and Marian Rybicki at the Ecole Normale de Musique, Paris. He won second prize in the 2011 Busoni Competition, first prize in the International Competition Premio Jaén, 2009, second prize in the International Competition for young Pianists in memory of Vladimir Horowitz and first prize in the Arthur Rubinstein Competition Israel, 2014. Baryshevskyi appears in recitals and orchestral concerts in Europe, the USA and Korea including Munich Radio Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic, the Ukraine Philharmonic and many others, with wellknown conductors. Baryshevskyi has participated in celebrated festivals: Seoul, Chautauqua, Copenhagen, Eisenbach, Lugano, Ruhr and Bolzano. He has appeared at the Wigmore Hall London, Konzerthaus Berlin,  oncertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Mariinsky Theatre St. Petersburg. Antonii has recorded CDs for several companies including “Naxos”, and radio and television programs in Italy, Denmark, Spain, Ukraine and Serbia.
